Locking folding knife Douro 2006 7,5 cm beech
Choose based on what you will be doing, not by the number of functions.
For slicing food and opening packaging, a small knife with a solid lock is enough; you will appreciate a multi-tool with pliers where something needs repairing—on a bike, tent or camping stove. A fixed blade is more durable and easier to clean, while a folding one is easier to carry. Keep in mind that you will need to sharpen the knife; a blunt knife is more dangerous than a sharp one because it slips. A knife does not belong in hand luggage on a plane; travel versions of multi-tools without a blade keep this in mind.
