Running vests

and that is exactly what distinguishes it from a small backpack. Choose according to the length of your run: for up to two hours, enough capacity for a soft flask, a gel, and keys is sufficient; for long trail runs, expect to carry water for two hours, an extra layer, and mandatory race equipment. Choose the size based on your chest circumference and try it on loaded; an empty vest always fits well. Front pockets within reach are more important than they seem — you cannot reach the back ones while running.
