Carabiner Petzl Attache orange

A reliable partner for every situation

The Petzl Attache is exactly the HMS carabiner you want to rely on on the wall. Whether you are belaying a lead climber, abseiling, or using it at a belay stance, its compact size and low weight will save you precious grams on your harness. Thanks to its well-thought-out pear shape, it handles brilliantly and is versatile for most climbing and mountaineering activities.

Well-thought-out design for smooth rope glide

The body of the carabiner combines the best of both worlds. The H-shaped profile ensures an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. The upper part, on the other hand, features a smooth circular cross-section, which is gentle on the rope and allows for smooth glide when belaying with a Munter hitch or with belay devices such as the VERSO or REVERSO.

• H-profile: Reduces weight without compromising on strength.
• Circular profile: Ensures smooth and fluid rope glide.
• Keylock system: The snag-free nose does not catch anywhere, making clipping and unclipping completely hassle-free.

Intuitive and safe operation

The SCREW-LOCK sleeve is easy to operate even with gloves on and provides reliable locking. A red indicator, which is visible when the carabiner is not fully locked, serves for quick visual checking. This is a detail you will appreciate at a belay stance or when tired.

Our tip

Before every climb, get into the habit of double-checking that the sleeve is tightened – the red indicator makes this easier. For maximum safety when belaying, we recommend using the BAR positioning divider, which prevents the carabiner from accidentally cross-loading.
