the longer and narrower the line, the more it swings and the harder it is to stand on it. Ratchet sets tension easily and quickly, which you will appreciate when setting up alone. Tree protection belongs to the gear: the line under pressure strips the bark and without a pad, the tree will be permanently damaged, even if it is not immediately visible. Choose based on where you will be setting it up; parks usually have rules on how many metres and on which trees it is allowed.
