Kids' long-sleeve base layers

A base layer top prevents this by wicking sweat away before it can cool their back. You can tell if a child is warm by feeling the nape of their neck; cold hands and nose are almost always misleading. Merino doesn't irritate, provides warmth even when damp and lasts multiple days, while synthetics can handle frequent washing and dry faster. Do not buy a size with a large allowance, because a loose base layer doesn't work. You will appreciate flat seams for more sensitive skin.
