Sealants and rim tape
A tubeless setup relies on two things: rim tape, which seals the spoke holes in the rim, and sealant, which seals small punctures while riding.
The rim tape must be exactly the width of the rim and stretched without creases, otherwise air escapes underneath it. Dose the sealant according to the volume of the tyre, more is not better — the excess will stick to the walls and add weight. Keep in mind that sealant dries out; check it about twice a year and top it up, because dried out sealant stops working.
