The CAMP Photon Straight Gate solid gate carabiner is the lightest full-size carabiner in the world. The Dyon uses a proprietary wire gate that combines the advantages of wire gate simplicity with the strength of a solid gate. This unique combination provides a high level of both performance and safety. The curved I-Beam spine construction reduces the carabiner's weight to a minimum while ensuring a high open-gate strength of 11kN. The patented SphereLock closure system minimises play between the gate and the nose for higher safety under load.
