The Mountain Whistle is a whistle that reaches a volume of 108 dB. It is an invaluable tool if you get into difficulty in the outdoors. It is made of anodised alloy and has an attachment ring. The internationally recognised distress signal is 6 consecutive blasts followed by a 1 minute pause, and the response used is 3 consecutive blasts with a 1 minute pause.
