Summer down sleeping bag Devon blue/khaki
On a bike, different rules apply than in a backpack…
space in bike bags is limited by shape, not just volume, so it comes down to how small a bundle you can make out of your sleeping bag. Down models compress the most, whilst synthetic ones can handle dampness from morning dew and rain, which you will encounter more often on a bike. A compression sack will reduce the volume even further, but do not leave the sleeping bag compressed at home — only on the road. Bear in mind that after a full day in the saddle, you will appreciate comfort more than a few saved grams.
