Crampons CAMP Skimo Race

The SKIMO Race are feature-packed 10-point aluminium crampons, specially adapted for ski mountaineering racing. The biggest change compared to other CAMP SKIMO crampons is the quick-release heel pin for ski touring boots. The crampon construction is based on ultra-light 7075 aluminium.

A huge advantage of the CAMP SKIMO crampons is the central linking bar, which has holes drilled asynchronously in two rows, allowing for more precise crampon size adjustment. Another neat feature is the size adaptation for smaller boots, simply by sliding the linking bar to the heel edge. The crampons can thus be easily adapted to boot sizes 210-330mm (size EU 36-46). The SKIMO crampons are ready for boots with a front toe bail (Automatic crampons), which can also be turned upside down to adapt the crampons to boots that have a lower front toe welt than standard boots. You can also optimise the crampons for boots without a toe welt; just buy the additional SKIMO Semi-Automatic Toe Bail (2589) part. The SKIMO crampons also allow you to replace the central linking bar with the Skimo Dyneema Linking Strap (2596), which further reduces both the weight of the crampons and the pack size.
