Tyre CrossMark II kevlar 26x2.25 EXO/TR
On a mountain bike, it makes sense to mix and match…
a more aggressive tread and a softer compound on the front for grip in corners, and a faster and more durable one on the rear, because that is where you transfer power and the tyre wears out faster. Soft rubber grips better but wears out sooner. You will appreciate reinforced sidewalls in the rocks, where cuts occur most often, which a sealant will not save. Choose the width and tread according to the terrain and the season, because a dry summer trail and autumn mud require opposite characteristics. A tubeless setup will also allow you to ride at a lower pressure.
