Freehub body Speedterra/Proterra Freehub Kit (Sram)
A freehub body is the part of the hub where the cassette is mounted, and it must match the manufacturer and the number of gears…
there are several types and they are not interchangeable. Aluminium ones are lighter, but the sprockets bite into them, making them harder to remove over time; steel ones last longer and are cheaper. Inside sits the freewheel mechanism, which determines how quickly the wheel engages when you pedal. Clicking while coasting is normal, skipping under load is not — leave that to a service centre. When changing the cassette, check how many gears the freehub body can accommodate.
